
Mr Thang is a member of the Townsville Primary School Advisory Committee, a member of the Advisory Committee to Kheng Chiu Loke Tin Kee Home ("琼州乐善居"), an associate member of the Telok Kurau Neighbourhood Committee and the Chairman (Patron) of the Joo Chiat Community Club Management Committee. He was named as one of the Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and the Rotary Club of Singapore. He was bestowed an Honorary Doctorate degree (PhD) by Akamai University, Hawaii in July 2006.
Mr Hoe is currently responsible for implementing the Group's conceptual directions and developing strategies for the Group. He also oversees the day-to- day operations and administrative matters.
He graduated with a Diploma in Production Engineering from the Singapore Polytechnic.
Mr Chan is principally involved in overseeing the Group's strategic marketing and brand development needs. He is responsible for overall sales and marketing, sourcing and merchandising efforts of the Group. He liaises with our brand principals to secure distribution rights for the Group. In addition, he is responsible for sales operations of four subsidiaries in Malaysia.
Mr Chan graduated with a Bachelor of Economics degree from Universiti Utara Malaysia.
Mr Foong was awarded the Public Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) by the President of Singapore in 2003. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Singapore, a Fellow member of CPA, Australia, a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Certified Management Consultant in Singapore.
Mr Yap joined Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited in 1992 and was promoted to Assistant Manager before leaving in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, he was a Director of You Yi Glass Contractor Pte Ltd, a company engaged in the business of trading in glass sheets. Mr Yap joined Maybank as a Senior Business Development Manager in 2001 and was subsequently promoted to Team Head of Trade Finance Business Development Group.
He graduated from RMIT University, Australia with a Bachelor Degree in Business (Business Administration). Mr Yap also serves as an Independent Director of Seroja Investments Ltd and an Independent Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of China Bearing (Singapore) Ltd, both companies are listed on the SGX Mainboard. Mr Yap is also an Independent Director of Soon Lian Holdings Ltd, a company listed on the Catalist.
Mr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore with First Class Honours in Civil Engineering, under the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB-SCC) scholarship. He was awarded the IES Gold Medal by Institute of Engineers (Singapore) in 1999 for being the top graduate in Civil Engineering.
